0528 Solving the discharge issues of magnesium oxide-based powder.
Three standard Brodisk (BD-15 type) units were installed in the hopper and testing was conducted.
This is an example of how our equipment resolved issues that could not be solved by the installation of knockers and aeration (socket welding) on the bridge. The installation of the blow disk involves making holes in the hopper wall for attachment. In this case, the customer expressed, "We have tried various methods, so we absolutely do not want to fail this time." Therefore, it was decided to first test with a φ500 hopper that the customer could prepare (with holes drilled, and it was acceptable if it did not work). As a result, the discharge issues were resolved, but after discussions between the customer and our company, we concluded that it would be better to install a total of 8 blow disks of this type in 2 tiers using a φ800 hopper. The customer proceeded with this installation. The control system uses a controller (C-SV4) with 4 built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for the 8 blow disks in pairs at 4 locations with a time delay.
